About Music Festival at the Port
Every June 21st, the municipality of Le Port, in the west of La Réunion, celebrates the Fête de la Musique with a free program mixing established artists and local talents. Organized by the City of Le Port, the festival brings together séga, seggae, maloya, reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop on open stages, around the Rivière des Galets and the Oasis complex.
The Fête de la Musique in Le Port
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Le Port into an open-air stage every June 21st. On the island of La Réunion, the event is entirely free: amateur musicians, local talents, and professional artists take turns on the open stages, in a family-friendly and festive atmosphere characteristic of Le Port's culture.
A festival at the heart of the neighborhoods
In Le Port, the Fête de la Musique highlights the richness of Indian Ocean music and young local creation. Open-air concerts, music creation workshops, introductions, exhibitions, and children's entertainment follow one another around the Rivière des Galets and the Oasis sports complex, making the municipality one of the major musical events in western La Réunion.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Le Port (La Réunion) will take place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge. The City of Le Port offers a festive program between the Oasis complex and the Rivière des Galets district, with concerts, workshops, and open stages for local talents.

Mail and Oasis Sports Complex — « Zakanfolie »
Festive afternoon combining sports activities, dance, and exhibition, followed by the Zakanmusic concert with Pix'L and Frédéric Joron.
Rivière des Galets — Nelson Mandela Stadium: Musical Fair
Family day with music creation workshops, introductions, exhibitions, and children's entertainment. From the afternoon, open stage for artists: O'Zart de rue, Réhanne, Ornel, Miane, Samieloya, and Delritaz.
Evening Concerts
The evening continues with Médérice, Aissya, Junior, and PLL, in a mix of séga, seggae, reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop.
