About Music Festival in Kourou
Every June 21, Kourou, in Guyana, celebrates the Fête de la Musique: students from the municipal music and dance school, amateur musicians, and local artists perform for free throughout the city. An eagerly anticipated highlight: the traditional evening at the Pôle Culturel, complemented by concerts in the bars and venues of the space city. The day is entirely free and open to all.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique takes over public spaces every June 21. In Kourou, the second largest city in Guyana and home to the Guiana Space Centre, music can be experienced both in the afternoon, with performances by students from the municipal music and dance school, and in the evening in the city's bars, restaurants, and cultural venues.
