Music'à Jalès

Fifth edition: between classical virtuosity and jazz swing

The 5th edition of Music'à Jalès unfolded from July 2 to August 6, 2025, with six concerts offered every Wednesday at 8:30 PM in the courtyard of the Commanderie de Jalès. On the classical music side, the festival hosted the Quatuor Isar, a saxophone quartet from the summer academy of the Quatuor Debussy, and the Trio Ernest, who performed works by Amanda Maier, Edvard Grieg, and Félix Mendelssohn.

On the jazz side, the Magnetic Orchestra accompanied by singer Lou Rivaille revived Broadway and Latin jazz standards. The duo Tom Ollendorf & Fabrice Tarel offered jazz rooted in melody and emotion. The New Orleans Syndicate closed the season with a flourish, celebrating the festive music of New Orleans.
