52nd edition in the streets of Aix
The 52nd edition of Musique dans la Rue took place in late August 2024 in the historic center of Aix-en-Provence. For eight days, about a hundred free concerts took over the squares, courtyards, and chapels of the old town, offering an eclectic repertoire blending classical, jazz, opera, and world music.
The evening concerts, starting at 6:30 PM, attracted a family and multi-generational audience to the emblematic venues of the historic center — Cour Sainte-Catherine, Place d'Albertas, Chapelle des Oblats, Place des Prêcheurs. The closing concert on Place des Prêcheurs brought together a large audience for the last musical evening of the summer.
