The festival began on Monday, August 4, at the Saint-Étienne Church of Vallouise with the Gesualdo Six, a British vocal ensemble directed by Owain Park, for a program titled “Josquin's Legacy, Mirror of Time”. On Tuesday, August 5, pianist Nicolas Mallarte offered a solo recital in the same church. The program then alternated between concerts in Vallouise, Puy-Saint-Vincent, and other venues in the Pays des Écrins, featuring various chamber music ensembles.
