2025-2026 Edition — The Restored Dome Lights Up
The 2025-2026 edition of Noël au Château de Cheverny unfolds from December 1, 2025, to January 18, 2026, offering seven weeks of magic in one of the most beautiful castles of the Loire. A major new feature this year: the restored dome on the top floor of the castle is illuminated for the first time, offering visitors an unprecedented view of the interior decorations.
Illuminations and Video Mapping
The estate's gardens host hundreds of decorated fir trees, giant luminous sculptures — Christmas balls, gingerbread men, elves — and a 30-meter giant fir tree. From 5:30 PM, the Renaissance facade comes alive with a video mapping show renewed for this edition, projecting fairy-tale scenes onto the 17th-century architecture.
Animations and Advent Calendar
The advent calendar is set up in the Maison des Événements, revealing a sweet treat to taste each day. The special Christmas Day on December 7 features the spectacular arrival of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, accompanied by their elves, for a gift distribution and a photo opportunity in the Trophy Room. Sessions are offered daily from December 26 to 31 at 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
