Edition 2017 — Où Sont les Femmes
Où Sont les Femmes 2017
The 2017 edition of the Où Sont les Femmes festival was held in late November and early December at K'fé Quoi in Forcalquier. The festival offered several evenings of concerts and live performances exclusively by women artists.
Among the highlights of this edition, Juliette Z presented her composite show mixing theater, pantomime, chanson, and electronic music. A former founder of the world music group Chet Nuneta, Juliette Z deployed a strange and captivating universe, populated by masks, puppets, and eccentric costumes inspired by the world of Tim Burton. She was accompanied by Guy Zollkau, director of the street arts company Théâtre de Caniveau, who manipulated the double bass and saxophone electronically.
