The 14th edition of the Photosynthèse European Nature Photography Festival took place from July 11 to 19, 2015, in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. The special theme of the competition was 'Encounters'. Photographic exhibitions, projections, workshops, nature outings, conferences, meet-and-greet meals, and a closing concert marked this exceptional week dedicated to photography and nature.

14th Edition — 'Encounters'
The fourteenth edition of the Photosynthèse festival was held from July 11 to 19, 2015, in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule. The special competition theme, 'Encounters', invited photographers to capture the interactions and moments of exchange between living beings and their environment.
The program included photographic exhibitions in competition, commented slideshow projections, nature photography workshops and courses led by professional photographers, nature outings to discover the flora and fauna of the Val de Sioule, as well as conferences on biodiversity and the environment.
The meet-and-greet meals allowed festival-goers to interact in a friendly atmosphere with the exhibiting photographers. A closing concert crowned this week dedicated to nature photography, confirming Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule's status as the European capital of nature photography during the festival.
