Edition 2025 — Place(s) aux Artistes
2025 edition of Place(s) aux Artistes in Albi: over 40 free open-air concerts from July 15 to August 16 in the historic center squares, featuring jazz, blues, gospel, classical, and world music.
An open-air musical summer in Albi
The 2025 edition of Place(s) aux Artistes once again transformed the historic heart of Albi into a grand open-air music stage. From July 15 to August 16, over 40 free concerts were offered each evening on the emblematic squares of the Episcopal City, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The 2025 program lived up to all expectations with a beautiful musical diversity: gypsy jazz and soul jazz evenings, acoustic blues concerts at the foot of the Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, gospel ensembles that set the summer nights ablaze, chamber music ensembles in the inner courtyards of heritage buildings, and world music evenings with African, Latin, and Mediterranean sounds. Each concert drew a large and enthusiastic audience, demonstrating the affection of Albi's residents and tourists for this event that has become emblematic of summer in the Tarn.
The complete freeness of the festival allowed all audiences to enjoy these beautiful musical evenings in an exceptional architectural setting, blending the characteristic pink bricks of Albi's architecture with the mildness of Occitan summer nights.
