22nd Edition - French song in all its diversity

For its 22nd edition, the Poly'Sons festival took over the Espace Guy Poirieux in Montbrison from January 17 to February 8, 2025, with the Théâtre des Pénitents undergoing renovation work. About twenty concerts enlivened these three weeks, offering a rich and varied panorama of francophone song.

The edition opened with the Saint-Étienne duo Terrenoire, accompanied by the Maîtrise de la Loire, for an exceptional opening concert. The legendary rap group Sniper offered two special performances on January 16 and 17.

Among the highlights, Louis Chedid gave a concert on January 18, followed by Catherine Ringer on January 27 with her show 'L'Érotisme de vivre', accompanied by pianist Grégoire Hetzel. Rose brought her characteristic electro-pop touch, while Thomas Fersen enchanted the audience with his sharp lyrics and quirky humor.

The program also included Dick Annegarn on February 1, preceded by the Jacquard brothers, Alexis HK, Nicolas Fraissinet, Martin Luminet, David Lafore and Guillaume Valayé in an intimate duo on January 29, as well as the trio La Cogneuse at the Château de Goutelas in Marcoux on February 2.

The closing evening on February 8 brought together Étienne Fletcher as the opening act and Yves Jamait as the headliner for a memorable finale. A festive evening on February 7 with Lupo, Malaka, and Youthie DJ-Set offered a moment of celebration for the festival-goers.
