The Positiv Festival 2025 took place from August 15th to 17th at the Théâtre Antique d'Orange, for the 7th edition of the Provençal electronic gathering. Positiv Festival 2025 — Three electronic nights under the Roman stars
The 7th edition of the Positiv Festival took place from August 15th to 17th, 2025, at the Théâtre Antique d'Orange, confirming the event's status as one of the most important electronic gatherings of the French summer. Three consecutive nights saw the most prominent figures of the contemporary international electronic scene perform on the monumental stage of the Roman theater.
2025 Lineup
Friday, August 15th, kicked off the festivities with Argy, James Hype, French artist Irène Drésel, and the duo Kas:st b2b Space 92, for an evening focused on house and melancholic techno. Saturday, August 16th, featured one of the most anticipated headliners: Belgian DJ Amelie Lens, accompanied by Sara Landry b2b Nico Moreno and Anfisa Letyago, for a night of hard-hitting and enveloping techno. The closing night on Sunday, August 17th, was entrusted to Paul Kalkbrenner, an icon of global electronic music, supported by Mind Against and Joachim Pastor.
The after-parties on Friday and Saturday nights extended the experience until dawn at the Orange exhibition center, with special guests like Legend, Cosmic Boys, and Marcel DK. The pre-shows on the theater's forecourt allowed young artists to perform before a warm audience ahead of the evening's headliners.
Video-mapping and digital arts
As with every edition, the Théâtre Antique was adorned with spectacular video projections, creating a visual dialogue between the ancient Roman architecture and contemporary digital creations. The overall artistic dimension of the event, which goes beyond a simple electronic concert to approach a total immersive experience, was praised by festival-goers and the specialized press.
