Printemps des Poètes 2025 in Montauban

The 2025 edition of Printemps des Poètes unfolded around March 21st in several spaces in Montauban. For a week, the city hosted a completely free program combining readings, artistic installations, and writing workshops.

Land art in the gardens

Several artists took over the gardens and green spaces of Montauban to create ephemeral installations combining natural materials and fragments of poetic texts. These land art works, visible during free strolls, transformed walks into unexpected poetic experiences.

Public readings

Actors and poets gave voice to words in the inner courtyards of old Montauban and on the banks of the Tarn. These free public reading sessions brought together an audience of all ages, introducing them to the richness of contemporary French-language poetry.

Poetry contest

The annual contest received numerous submissions from students in the department as well as amateur poets. The winning texts were read at a public ceremony at the MéMo media library, in the presence of families and teachers.
