36th edition: under the patronage of Gauthier Capuçon

The 36th edition of Printemps Musical en Pays Roannais took place from May 10 to June 7, 2025, under the prestigious patronage of cellist Gauthier Capuçon. The festival offered a rich and varied program, true to its legendary eclecticism, attracting over 3,000 spectators to the various concert venues in the Roannais region.

Highlights of the 2025 edition

The edition kicked off with a concert dedicated to the film music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer at Le Scarabée in Riorges, immersing the audience in the cinematic world of Hollywood's greatest composers. The young and talented Nach then took over La Parenthèse in Renaison for a French chanson concert.

The highlight of this edition was the candlelit concert in the church of Saint-André-d'Apchon, featuring violinists Karen Kuronuma and Anna Sypniewski, two exceptional musicians supported by the Gauthier Capuçon Foundation. An intimate and enchanting event in an exceptional heritage setting.

Susanna Rigacci, the voice of Ennio Morricone, gave two memorable performances at Salle Fontalon in Roanne, interpreting the maestro's greatest film scores. The edition concluded on a festive note with Couleurs Hispaniques, a concert by the orchestra Les Enfants de la Côte at the Hall of Saint-André-d'Apchon.
