P'tits Mots, P'tits Mômes 2025 — 29th Edition
The 29th edition of the P'tits Mots, P'tits Mômes festival took place from March 22 to 29, 2025, in Vizille, at the festival's two usual venues: the Cinéma-Théâtre Le Jeu de Paume and the Centre des congrès La Locomotive. For a week, families from the South of Isère enjoyed a rich and varied program designed to delight toddlers aged 12 months to 6 years.
A Program Blending Comedy, Dreaminess, and Magic
True to its identity, this 2025 edition offered an artistic journey combining comedy, dreaminess, and magic. The program, selected with the help of Hélène Jusselin from Minizou magazine, featured a palette of diverse artistic forms: from soap bubbles to play-doh characters, from burlesque theater to poetic circus, each show captivated the young audience with its sensitivity and creativity.
The Highlights of the Edition
Among the highlights of this 29th edition, audiences enjoyed Le Bibliothécaire, a burlesque physical theater performance that enchanted young and old with its visual humor. Glob, a poetic clown, transported spectators into a tender and quirky world. De la nécessité de la gravité, a form of circus-theater, amazed with its virtuosity and its accessible themes for the youngest. Dans ma maison, an object theater piece, offered a moment of intimacy and tenderness. Les pieds dans l'eau, a paper theater show, unfolded a fascinating graphic universe.
Film Screening and Discussions
The 2025 edition also included a film screening and discussion around the film L'Attachement by Carine Tardieu, followed by a discussion with Marion Spinelli, a pediatric nurse, on the theme of parent-child relationships. The children's cinema screenings with Les toutes petites créatures completed the program, offering the youngest a gentle introduction to the seventh art.
Closing Concert
The festival concluded in style on Saturday, March 29, at 4:30 PM at La Locomotive with the children's concert by Méli-Mômes, an interactive musical performance that had families dancing and singing to close this festive week.
