Edition 2024 — Violoncelle de Bélaye
The 35th edition of the Rencontres de Violoncelle de Bélaye took place from August 3 to 9, 2024. Eighteen accomplished musicians gathered around Roland Pidoux for a week of concerts and workshops in Bélaye and at the Notre-Dame de l'Île chapel in Luzech, with a program highlighting three generations of the Pidoux family.

35th Edition — August 3 to 9, 2024
The 35th edition of the Rencontres de Violoncelle de Bélaye brought together eighteen top-level musicians from August 3 to 9, 2024. Concerts were held at the Bélaye church and the Notre-Dame de l'Île chapel in Luzech.
Highlights
The concert on August 4, titled "The Play of this Family", was a particularly moving moment, bringing together three generations of musicians from the Pidoux family on stage. The daily workshop-concerts at 3 PM allowed the public to witness the musicians' work, while the evening concerts at 6:30 PM or 8 PM offered exceptional chamber music programs.

Concerts were scheduled for August 4, 5, 7, 8 at 6:30 PM and August 9 at 8 PM. Public workshop-concerts took place daily at 3 PM. Workshops for children also complemented the program.
