19th Edition - November 2025: The Years of Lead

The 19th edition of the Dolce Cinema festival will be held from November 8 to 30, 2025, in Grenoble and Isère. For this edition, the spotlight turns to one of the most fascinating periods in Italian history: the years of lead.

A Strong Thematic Program

The 2025 selection offers about twenty films divided between the competition, panorama, and heritage sections. The theme of the years of lead provides a cinematic look at this tumultuous period of Italy from the 1960s to the 1980s, through contemporary works and restored classics.

Heritage Screenings

Among the heritage films, the Cinémathèque de Grenoble will notably host the screening of Buongiorno Notte by Marco Bellocchio, a masterful film about the kidnapping of Aldo Moro, on November 13, 2025, at 8 PM.
