Edition 2024 — Résurgence
Eighth edition of the Résurgence festival, dedicated to the link between contemporary art and sport. Inspired by Roger Couderc, a famous sports commentator from Souillac, this edition coincided with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to promote the values of passion, perseverance, inclusion, and fair play.

Résurgence VIII: Sportive Attitude
For its eighth edition, the Résurgence festival partnered with sports clubs and associations in the region around the theme Sportive Attitude. The edition paid homage to Roger Couderc, an emblematic sports commentator from Souillac, who made rugby famous on French radio.
An art and sport program
In echo to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the collective exhibition at the Beffroi Saint-Martin brought together contemporary artists exploring the links between artistic creation and sports practice. Common values — passion, self-transcendence, teamwork, inclusion, and fair play — were highlighted through various works.
Workshops, conferences, hikes, and sports meetings completed the program throughout the north of the Lot, combining mental health and artistic practice under the theme Moving for our Mental Health, in partnership with UNAFAM.
