7th Edition: Rock, Street Performance, and Festive Atmosphere
On Saturday, September 10, 2016, the Rock d'Ici festival celebrated its 7th edition in the green amphitheater of Saint-Martin-les-Eaux. Six bands from the PACA region performed on stage, from 5 PM to 1 AM, offering a varied program ranging from rock to funk and world music.
The 2016 edition marked a turning point with the addition of a live performance component: Monobass Cie opened the festivities at 5 PM with the “Giant Trottinette Orchestra,” a comedic show for all audiences, while Cie Feufolie entertained the site throughout the evening with their street performances.
On stage, Mami Wata opened the musical sequence, followed by Mad€ in France and Spëculons. Azyd Azylum brought their punk-rock energy, Beat Cheese got the crowd dancing, and Blind Pie closed the show. The technical production, managed by Jérôme Rouquette, ensured professional sound conditions for all the bands.
