Rock'n Vie 2025 – Sixth Edition at Apremont Castle

The sixth edition of Rock'n Vie took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the foot of Apremont Castle, confirming the festival's growing influence in the Vendée rock scene. Five bands set the stage ablaze from sunset until nightfall, offering the audience a rich and contrasting panorama of amplified music.

Big Kahuna, a stoner heavy and soaring band from La Rochelle, opened the festivities, immediately establishing a heavy and hypnotic atmosphere. Dolloster, from Bordeaux, then awakened the classic hard rock instincts with traditional riffs and fiery solos. Octopus King, led by singer Meighan, presented progressive rock with ambitious sound textures, evoking at times the atmospheres of Pink Floyd and the experimental energy of King Gizzard. Eihwar and Opium du Peuple completed this eclectic lineup, each bringing their own color to an evening rich in emotions and decibels.

The magnificent castle setting, illuminated in the Vendée twilight, once again proved that Rock'n Vie had found its ideal home. The proximity between artists and the audience, the palpable energy from the pit, and the conviviality of the food and drink areas made this edition a unanimously acclaimed success.
