42nd Edition — November 15 and 16, 2025

The Salon de la Gastronomie du Coteau celebrated its 42nd edition on November 15 and 16, 2025, at Le Scarabée in Riorges. This edition marked a turning point in the salon's history by surpassing the symbolic threshold of 100 exhibitors for the first time, confirming the event's growing appeal.

New additions and exhibitors

Among the 20 new stands at this edition: artisanal macarons, walnuts, truffles, saffron, new winemakers, and a cutlery maker from Thiers. Visitors also found the salon's must-haves: foie gras, Savoyard charcuterie, farm cheeses, wines and champagnes, craft beers, confectionery, and many other regional specialties from all over France, with about one-third of the exhibitors from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Pastry Competition

A major new feature of this 42nd edition was the pastry competition open to the general public, held on Saturday. Participants had to present the best and most beautiful cake. Special categories were reserved for CFA apprentices and participants from leisure centers, highlighting the talents of tomorrow.

A Salon Also Dedicated to Local History

A stand dedicated to the association "Le Coteau d'hier et demain" (Le Coteau of yesterday and tomorrow) celebrated the 180th anniversary of the town of Le Coteau, adding a heritage dimension to this gourmet edition.

Events and Tastings

Throughout the weekend, culinary demonstrations and tasting areas punctuated the salon, offering visitors moments of conviviality and discovery. A free shuttle service from Place Aucey in Le Coteau facilitated access to Le Scarabée.
