Edition 2026 — Salon du Livre d'Arc-en-Barrois
First edition of the Salon du Livre et des Auteurs d'Arc-en-Barrois, organized by the Amicale arcquoise in partnership with the media library. Two days of meetings with illustrator Christine Davenier, writers from Haute-Marne, photographer Frédéric Debilly, and author Louve Sarkel. Pop-up workshops, paper poetry, slam, readings, dictation, and Minusculette mural.
First Edition — March 2026
The first Salon du Livre et des Auteurs d'Arc-en-Barrois was held on March 7th and 8th, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the municipal media library. Organized by the Amicale arcquoise, this highly anticipated event attracted many visitors.
Saturday, March 7th
The day began with the photographic exhibition “On the paths of Haute-Marne” by Frédéric Debilly, featuring plays of light and shadow in the landscapes of Haute-Marne. The storytime, hosted by Hélène Mairet with illustrator Christine Davenier, enchanted the children around the "Minusculette" books. Christine Davenier also offered a Pop-up workshop for the younger ones. Author Louve Sarkel was present for signing sessions.
Sunday, March 8th
Authors from the Association des écrivains haut-marnais animated the day with slam poetry, readings, and book signings. In the morning, a “Paper Poetry” workshop allowed adults to create silhouettes cut from books and newspapers. In the afternoon, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, a fun dictation proposed by Michèle Hauluigue and a Minusculette mural to color delighted the children.
The exchanges were rich and the participation enthusiastic, promising great future editions.
