2025-2026 Season of the Scène nationale de l'Essonne
The 2025-2026 season of the Scène nationale de l'Essonne offered about fifty multidisciplinary performances at the Théâtre de l'Agora in Évry-Courcouronnes and the Centre Culturel Robert Desnos in Ris-Orangis, from September 2025 to June 2026.
Highlights
September 2025 — Season opening with "-P/\RC---", a contemporary dance performance.
October 2025 — "Contes Chinois", "Terrapolis", "Histoire d'un Cid" (theatre).
November 2025 — Requiem(s) by Angelin Preljocaj, a world-renowned choreographer, for a monumental work based on the Requiems of Fauré and Mozart.
December 2025 — Bovary Madame (theatre), a reinterpretation of Flaubert; Chotto Desh by Akram Khan, an intimate and moving performance by the master of contemporary dance.
June 2026 — Season finale outdoors with Carmen, opéra-paysage itinérant.
