Scopitone 2025 — 23rd Edition

The 23rd edition of Scopitone unfolded from September 17 to 21, 2025, in the Quartier de la Création and across the city of Nantes. The festival offered a rich program mixing digital art exhibitions, electronic nights, free concerts, performances, and activities for young audiences.

The "Prophecies" Exhibition

A highlight of this edition, the collective exhibition "Prophecies" brought together about fifteen emerging and recognized artists across three chapters – "Divinatory Techniques," "Algorithmic Divination," and "Echoes of the Future" – exploring our relationship with divination, from ancient myths to predictive technologies. The exhibition was displayed in Halles 1 and 2, the Open School Galerie des Beaux-Arts de Nantes Saint-Nazaire, and the Galerie de l'Ordre des architectes, with free access and guided tours by reservation.

Electro Nights

The traditional Electro Nights electrified Stereolux and Les Nefs from Friday, September 19, to Saturday, September 20, from 10 PM to 5 AM. On the program: Kiddy Smile, Myd, LB aka Labat, Crystallmess, CDSM, and many other artists championing the diversity and emergence of the contemporary electronic scene.

Performances and Concerts

Among the unique offerings, the sensory performance "Je suis une montagne" (I Am a Mountain) at Le Lieu Unique combined visual arts, ritual, and performance in an immersive experience. Free concerts and DJ sets animated several city venues throughout the festival: Askip, Manoir de Procé, Ohm Town, LAB, and Trempo.

Young Audience

The festival offered guided tours of the exhibition for 7-12 year olds and a free family-friendly "Electro Party" at Magmaa on Saturday at 6:30 PM.
