3rd Edition: Jazz in All Its Diversity

The 3rd edition of the Serre Chevalier Summer Jazz Festival took place from August 19 to 22, 2025 in the valley's heritage sites. The program offered five musical events combining intimate recitals and ensemble concerts.

The festival opened on Tuesday, August 19, with Marylise Florid in a solo guitar recital at the Casset church, followed on Wednesday by the Duo “Doux Désir” at the Saint-Chaffrey church. On Thursday, a conference on Thelonious Monk by journalist Lionel Eskenazi preceded the concert by the Duo Bonacina/Dehors, featuring Céline Bonacina on baritone saxophone and Laurent Dehors on saxophones and clarinets. The festival concluded on Friday with the Louis Sclavis Quartet performing the album “India” at the Monêtier-les-Bains church.
