For its 25th edition, the Soirées Lyriques de Sanxay presented Verdi's Nabucco on August 9, 11, and 13, 2025. Mongolian baritone Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar played the title role, alongside Ewa Vesin (Abigaille) and Marie-Andrée Bouchard-Lesieur (Fenena), under the musical direction of Valerio Galli and staging by Andrea Tocchio.

2025 Edition — Verdi's Nabucco
The Soirées Lyriques de Sanxay celebrated their 25th anniversary with one of the world's most popular operas: Giuseppe Verdi's Nabucco. The three performances on August 9, 11, and 13, 2025, resonated in the ancient theatre with the celebrated Hebrew slaves' chorus, Va pensiero.
The title role was entrusted to the Mongolian baritone Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar, a vocal revelation acclaimed at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Opéra national de Lyon. Soprano Ewa Vesin embodied Abigaille and mezzo-soprano Marie-Andrée Bouchard-Lesieur took on the role of Fenena. Bass Dmitry Ulyanov played Zaccaria, alongside tenor Klodjan Kaçani (Ismaele). Musical direction was by Valerio Galli, staging and sets by Andrea Tocchio, costumes by Anna Biagiotti, and choir direction by Stefano Visconti.
