Edition 2022 — Sons au fil de l'eau
First edition under the name Sons au fil de l'eau (formerly "Balade en Musique"). The festival took place on July 1st and 2nd, 2022, at Place des Grèves with a program mixing new trad, rock-musette brass band, Colombian cumbia, chaâbi, French pop, reggae, and digital cabaret, all completely free.

2022 Edition — First Edition Under the New Name
The historic festival of La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, formerly known as "Balade en Musique", became Sons au fil de l'eau in 2022, marking a renewal for this musical event on the banks of the Loire.
On Friday, July 1st, the evening began with Celtik'raic (new trad) at 7 PM, followed by the Menace d'éclaircie brass band (rock-musette) parading, then Tector Cumbia (Colombian music), and finally Labess (chaâbi) as the headliner.
On Saturday, July 2nd, the afternoon featured children's shows with Le Jardin de Willy (balloon sculpting), Fables signées (La Fontaine's Fables in sign language), and Plumes (dance and poetry). In the evening, Czesare (French pop), ALAM (reggae), and Lamuzgueule (digital cabaret) performed on stage, with the Mouv'n'Brass brass band parading throughout the evening.
