Edition 2025 — Souvigny Medieval Fair
30th Edition: Three Decades of Medieval Celebration
The 30th edition of the Souvigny Medieval Fair took place from August 2nd to 10th, 2025, celebrating three decades of this event that has become a must-see in the festive landscape of Allier and Auvergne. For nine days, the village of Souvigny regained its medieval colors with a rich and varied program.
From 2 PM to midnight, the streets came alive with troubadours, jugglers, fire-eaters, tightrope walkers, and actors. The craftspeople's stalls showcased period skills: blacksmithing, pottery, leatherwork, and woodwork. The fire shows on the priory esplanade, the grand medieval ball, and the banquets in the Saint-Marc church marked the highlights of this anniversary edition.
