Edition 2025 — SHM Meaux
The 2025 season of the Spectacle Historique de Meaux, the last in its classic format, took place from June 14 to July 12, 2025, in the Episcopal City. Eight 75-minute night performances with 500 volunteers and 2,500 costumes retraced 2,000 years of French and Meaux history. The last traditional show took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Last classic season — Summer 2025
The 2025 season of the Spectacle Historique de Meaux had an exceptional character: it was the last edition in the classic format of the monumental sound and light show in the Episcopal City, before the site renovation work planned for at least five years.
From June 14 to July 12, 2025, eight night performances allowed spectators to experience this epic journey through 2,000 years of history one last time in the majestic setting of Saint-Étienne Cathedral and the Vieux Chapitre. The 500 volunteers from OCAM gave their best for this final show, wearing the 2,500 period costumes for a 75-minute performance full of emotion.
Saturday, July 12, 2025 marked the end of an era, with the last traditional show before the format transformation for 2026.
