Edition 2025 — Street Art Fest
The 11th edition of Street Art Fest Grenoble-Alpes took place from May 27 to June 29, 2025, with the theme "Resilience." Fifteen new monumental frescoes were created in eight municipalities of the Grenoble metropolitan area, bringing the total heritage to over 470 works. The group exhibition at the Ancien Musée de Peinture featured over 60 works by 15 artists, accompanied by a solo exhibition by Spanish artist Deih.
11th Edition - Resilience
The 2025 edition of Street Art Fest Grenoble-Alpes, under the banner of "Resilience", marked a turning point in the festival's history. Faced with a drastic 62% drop in institutional funding between 2023 and 2024, the Spacejunk Grenoble team chose to stay the course and offer an ambitious program, supported by a crowdfunding campaign and the commitment of dozens of volunteers.
During five weeks of creation, 15 new monumental frescoes were brought to life in eight municipalities of the metropolitan area: Grenoble, Saint-Martin-d'Hères, Meylan, Claix, Gières, Seyssinet-Pariset, Vizille, and Saint-Égrève. For the first time, the festival also extended to Voiron, marking a significant territorial expansion.
The group exhibition at the Ancien Musée de Peinture featured over 60 works by 15 international artists, offering a striking panorama of the diversity of contemporary street art. In parallel, Spanish artist Deih presented his solo exhibition "Ruins & Stars (And that White Noise in the Background)" in the Matisse room, an immersive proposal exploring the tensions between ruins and stars, reality and imagination.
The festival also participated for the first time in the Art Up! fair at Alpexpo, with a conference on "Street art and the market."
