22nd Edition: Atlanta Blues on the Banks of the Thouet
The 22nd edition of Terri'Thouars Blues took place from March 19 to 23, 2025, this year placing the Atlanta blues scene at the heart of its programming. Two major artists, completely new to Europe, marked this edition: Skyler Sufley, a pianist, guitarist, and singer from the Atlanta scene, and Nate Nelson with his Entertainment Crackers, returning after a previous notable appearance at the festival.
Argentinian guitarist Federico Verteramo and the Doc Lou Trio completed an eclectic and demanding lineup. The master classes on Wednesday and Thursday allowed amateur musicians to work directly with the guest artists. The Saturday, March 22nd evening at the Theater was sold out, testifying to the enthusiasm of the Thouars audience for this annual blues event.
True to its tradition, the festival also offered blues discovery sessions in schools in the Thouarsais region, free concerts in bars, and musical meals.
