Thoiry Lumières Sauvages 2025-2026 - The Spirits' Ball
The 8th edition of Thoiry Lumières Sauvages ran from October 17, 2025, to March 8, 2026, with a brand-new theme: "Le Bal des Esprits" (The Spirits' Ball). Inspired by the Mexican Día de los Muertos and global rituals related to death and remembrance, this 3 km trail offered a nocturnal journey through celebrations of memory and life.
Nearly 3,000 luminous sculptures, all handcrafted and covered in silk, transformed the park's walking trails, botanical gardens, and the Wow Safari Thoiry labyrinth into a dreamlike and colorful universe. An immersive soundscape accompanied visitors throughout the trail, creating a unique multisensory experience.
