Trail des Citadelles 2025: 2,282 Finishers
The Trail des Citadelles 2025 took place on Sunday, April 20, in Lavelanet. Five distances were on the program: 10 km (500 m D+), 25 km (1,200 m D+), 40 km (2,000 m D+), 57 km (2,800 m D+), and 72 km (3,400 m D+). In total, 2,282 runners crossed the finish line, a new participation record.
The routes followed the emblematic trails of the Cathar Country, crossing the citadels of Montségur and Roquefixade, the beech and fir forests of the Pyrenees, and the ridges offering grandiose panoramas of the Saint-Barthélemy massif.
