Transhumance Festival of Chamrousse

2025 Edition - Sunday, July 6th

The Transhumance Festival 2025 takes place on Sunday, July 6th in Chamrousse 1750. Meet at the foot of the Bachat-Bouloud chairlift for the walk with the shepherd and his thousand sheep, accompanied by Jean Michel the accordionist at 10:30 AM, heading towards Lake Lauze.

The day offers numerous free activities:

• Exhibition of the giant straw mouflon
• Ritournelle Carousel
• Giant wooden games and bubble workshop
• "Sculpt Your Edelweiss" Workshop
• Traditional Dauphiné dances with Rigodons et Traditions
• Face painting for children
• Circus show De l'exploit et du risque by Cie Cirque à l'envers
