Nuits de Nacre 2024: The 36th and Final Edition
From June 28 to 30, 2024, Tulle vibrated one last time to the rhythm of Nuits de Nacre, the emblematic accordion festival of the city since 1982. This 36th edition marked the end of an adventure spanning over three decades, as the organizing association declared its cessation of payments in December 2024.
The festival hosted around thirty groups from around the world, including Irish-Scottish and American ensembles. Concerts took place on the city's squares, in bars, and at the Cité de l'Accordéon et des Patrimoines. Despite financial difficulties, this final edition was a beautiful tribute to the festival's history and Tulle's attachment to the accordion.
