Edition 2025 — Napoleon III Weekend in Valençay

2025 Edition: The Second Empire in the Spotlight
On September 13 and 14, 2025, the Château de Valençay hosted another edition of "Valençay in the Time of Napoleon-Louis." About forty reenactors in Second Empire costumes animated the castle's salons, Orangery, and gardens throughout the weekend.
The program included Second Empire dance demonstrations, presentations of women's and men's fashion, workshops on table arts and period gastronomy, as well as garden games on the main lawn. The grand imperial ball on Saturday evening, organized in partnership with Le Ballet Impérial, brought dancers together at the Orangery from 7:00 PM to midnight.
