Vézelay Honey Festival 2025
The Vézelay Honey Festival 2025 brought together beekeepers from Yonne and Morvan in the picturesque setting of the medieval village, at the foot of the Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Basilica. Acacia, spring, sunflower, and forest honeys, hive products, and artisanal creations animated the cobbled streets of Vézelay for the great pleasure of visitors and gourmets.
Educational activities allowed families to discover how a hive works, the life cycle of bees, and organic beekeeping practices. A moment to raise awareness about pollinator preservation, in a village that has cultivated the link between nature, terroir, and heritage for centuries.
