2025 Edition: Voices of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea
The 2025 edition of the Voix & Patrimoines Festival took the audience on a journey to discover the vocal styles of the Mediterranean basin and the Black Sea. The program included: ancient Iberian chants, Sephardic traditions, Corsican, Occitan, and Georgian polyphonies, Renaissance compositions, and contemporary creations.
The opening concert was entrusted to the Gesualdo Six, a renowned English vocal sextet led by Owain Park, who performed a program titled Fading, exploring the night between Compline prayers and dawn Vigils, on June 6th at the Notre-Dame church in Chamalières.
