About Woodscôte Festival

Born in 2024 from the enthusiasm generated by the BTZ Downhill, the Woodscôte Festival is a multidisciplinary event that takes over the Côte des Basques in Biarritz for three days at the end of June. Rooted in an authentic and inclusive rock spirit, the festival offers a 100% live program — over fifteen rock, pop, and rap concerts with no DJs — skateboard and downhill competitions, a surf contest, and live painting performances. With a participatory entry starting from 1 euro, Woodscôte cultivates the values of Peace, Love & Unity and brings together thrill-seekers, families, creatives, and the curious.

Woodscôte Festival: rock, skate and surf on the Côte des Basques

The Woodscôte Festival was born in 2024 from the shared passion for surf, skate and rock of a collective of local riders and artists, BTZ Downhill, founded by Jordan and Alain Sevellec. Inspired by the energy of the first edition of BTZ Downhill, this festival immediately established itself as an unmissable event of the Biarritz summer on the mythical Côte des Basques.

100% live music

Woodscôte's trademark is its 100% live music program: over fifteen concerts spread over three days, covering rock, pop and rap, with no DJ sets. This commitment to live music creates an authentic and electric atmosphere, in line with the vintage 70s rock spirit that permeates the festival.

Skate, downhill and surf

The sports component is just as ambitious:

  • Skateboard competitions: demos and contests with a prize pool of approximately 4,000 euros
  • Downhill: descent races on the slopes of the Côte des Basques
  • Surf contest: competition on the waves of the Côte des Basques with a prize pool of approximately 2,000 euros

Art and creation

The festival also hosts live painting performances and in situ artistic creations, adding a visual and creative dimension to the event. Local and guest artists transform the festival space into an open-air gallery.

A spirit of Peace, Love & Unity

The Woodscôte Festival cultivates a spirit of diversity, passion and freedom. With a participatory entry starting from 1 euro, the event aims to be accessible to all — thrill-seekers, families, creatives and the curious — in a vintage and inclusive atmosphere that blends generations and cultures.

Woodscôte Festival — edition 2026

The 3rd edition of the Woodscôte Festival will take place from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30, 2026 on the Côte des Basques in Biarritz. The festival continues its formula combining 100% live music, skate, surf, and art, in the spirit of Peace, Love & Unity that has been its hallmark since 2024.

3rd Edition — June 28 to 30, 2026

For its 3rd edition, the Woodscôte Festival returns to the Côte des Basques in Biarritz from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30, 2026. Three days of live music, skate, surf, and art in the vintage and inclusive atmosphere that has characterized the event since its creation.

The festival kicks off on Friday, June 28 in the late afternoon and continues late into the night, with a 100% live program (no DJs) spread across two stages, skateboard and downhill competitions, a surf contest, and live painting performances.
