Live music, skate and surf on the Basque Coast
The Woodscôte Festival was born in 2024 from the shared passion for surf, skate and rock of a collective of local riders and artists, BTZ Downhill, founded by Jordan and Alain Sevellec. Inspired by the energy of the first edition of BTZ Downhill, this festival immediately established itself as an unmissable event of the Biarritz summer on the mythical Côte des Basques.
Woodscôte's trademark is its 100% live music program: over fifteen concerts spread over three days, covering rock, pop and rap, with no DJ sets. This commitment to live music creates an authentic and electric atmosphere, in line with the vintage 70s rock spirit that permeates the festival.
The sports component is just as ambitious:
The festival also hosts live painting performances and in situ artistic creations, adding a visual and creative dimension to the event. Local and guest artists transform the festival space into an open-air gallery.
The Woodscôte Festival cultivates a spirit of diversity, passion and freedom. With a participatory entry starting from 1 euro, the event aims to be accessible to all — thrill-seekers, families, creatives and the curious — in a vintage and inclusive atmosphere that blends generations and cultures.
The 3rd edition of the Woodscôte Festival will take place from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, June 30, 2026 on the Côte des Basques in Biarritz. The festival continues its formula combining 100% live music, skate, surf, and art, in the spirit of Peace, Love & Unity that has been its hallmark since 2024.
