2025 edition of the 1001 Bass Music Festival in Saint-Étienne. Three evenings of electronic music at Le Fil (SMAC) and the Palais des Spectacles, with five stages and around thirty artists exploring techno, trance, house, acid, hardcore, and drum and bass. 2025 Edition: Three Electronic Nights in Saint-Étienne
The 1001 Bass Music Festival returned from October 16 to 18, 2025, at Le Fil (SMAC) and the Palais des Spectacles in Saint-Étienne for three intense evenings of electronic music. True to its format of five stages and around thirty artists, the festival offered a complete musical journey through electronic aesthetics.
Thursday, October 16 kicked off the event with an evening blending hip-hop and electro, in the spirit of previous editions that hosted artists like Alkpote and Hippocampe Fou. Friday, October 17 was dedicated to techno and acid, with powerful sets on the main stage and live performances on the Club stage. Saturday, October 18 closed the festival with a night dedicated to psytrance and hardcore, in keeping with the festival's tradition.
The visual scenographies — video mapping, fluorescent decorations, and light installations — once again transformed the venues into immersive universes. Craft stalls, food trucks, and relaxation areas completed the festival offerings.
