Ambert en jeux — edition 2026
Ambert en jeux — October 10th and 11th, 2026
For its first edition, the festival offers gaming sessions guided by volunteers, dedicated areas for family games and long-format games, role-playing game workshops, and a showcase of new prototypes. Please note that there is no trade show component.
Opening on October 9th
The festival opens on Friday, October 9th, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Place Charles-de-Gaulle, featuring the performance Tiens, tiens by the Les Arracheurs de dents company, centered around the International Barbichette Championship.
Programme Ambert en jeux 2026
Free admission. A refreshment bar is available; La Popotte en Vadrouille will be serving meals on Saturday and Sunday at lunchtime. The Salle Cyrille Morel will host family and children's games, while the upstairs room, located past the outdoor corridor, will feature games for experienced players with complex rules or longer playtimes.

- 10:00 AM–12:30 PM — Children's role-playing games · upstairs room (limited spots, sign up on-site)
- 11:00 AM–11:15 AM — What they didn't tell you about Monopoly · performance hall
- 2:00 PM–4:30 PM — Role-playing games · upstairs room (limited spots, sign up on-site)
- 2:00 PM–5:00 PM — Tournament
- 5:00 PM–8:00 PM — Prototype showcase · upstairs room
- 5:30 PM–6:30 PM — Activity: "Two Rooms and A Boom" party game · performance hall
