The 24th edition of Roanne Table Ouverte takes place from October 5th to 30th, 2026: nearly 100 gourmet events (dinner shows, workshops, tastings, lunch shows) bring together about forty restaurants and venues in the Roannais region around gastronomy and live performance. The launch party kicks off the festival at Les Halles Diderot on October 5th, the 3-star evening brings together three starred chefs at the Théâtre de Roanne on October 12th, and the closing night is held at Le Scarabée, in Riorges, on October 30th.
24th edition: 100 gourmet events
Supported by the City of Roanne with an announced budget of €168,900, the 24th edition of Roanne Table Ouverte offers 72 dinner shows in about forty restaurants in the metropolitan area, including 5 new establishments this year, as well as about thirty "Off" events (workshops, tastings, lunch shows, entertainment in senior clubs, at the hospital center, and at the Roannais CFA).
Three event evenings
The launch party is held at Les Halles Diderot on Monday, October 5th (€25, two sessions to choose from at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM). The 3-star evening brings together three starred chefs at the Théâtre de Roanne on Monday, October 12th (€200). The closing night gathers all the festival participants at Le Scarabée, in Riorges, on Friday, October 30th at 7:30 PM (€40).
Dinners in the dark and entertainment
Two dinners in the dark are offered at the restaurant Ma Chaumière, in Le Coteau, on October 9th and 17th. The Ciné Miam evening, a concert to savor, is held at Espace Renoir on October 8th in partnership with the Conservatory. The program is offered in connection with the "Vignobles & Découvertes" label, which distinguishes the Côte Roannaise.

Access
Festival events take place in numerous restaurants and venues in the Roannais region, with highlights at the Halles Diderot (35 rue Diderot, 42300 Roanne).
- By car: Roanne is accessible via the A89 (from Lyon, 1h) and the A72 (from Saint-Étienne, 1h). Parking available in the city center.
- By train: Roanne SNCF station, served by TER trains from Lyon (1h15) and Saint-Étienne (1h). The station is a 10-minute walk from Halles Diderot.
Ticketing
Online ticketing generally opens on July 21st on the official website roannetableouverte.fr. Dinner shows are booked directly with participating restaurants. Tasting evenings and the 3-star evening require purchasing tickets online.

Since 2003, the Roanne Table Ouverte festival has offered an unprecedented concept in France: opening restaurants in the Roannais region to artists to create evenings where gastronomy and live performance blend harmoniously. Every evening in October, guests can enjoy a meal prepared by Roanne chefs while attending a show — concert, play, cabaret act, or musical performance — in the intimate setting of a restaurant.
This marriage between culinary art and performing arts is what makes Roanne Table Ouverte unique and a benchmark festival in the French gastronomic and cultural landscape.
Roanne, the French capital of gastronomy
Roanne boasts an exceptional gastronomic tradition, championed by prestigious establishments such as the Maison Troisgros, a three-Michelin-star restaurant since 1968. This culture of culinary excellence permeates the entire Roannais region, from starred restaurants to neighborhood bistros, and the artisans of the Halles Diderot, a true temple of local gastronomy.
The Roanne Table Ouverte festival is part of this tradition, bringing together around a hundred dinner shows each year in over 40 establishments in the Roannais, offering a rich and varied program to suit all tastes.
Labeled "Vignobles et Découvertes"
Roanne Table Ouverte is labeled "Vignobles et Découvertes", a national label that distinguishes excellent wine tourism destinations. This label highlights the Côte Roannaise, an AOC vineyard since 1994, which covers 215 hectares across 13 municipalities. Winegrowers from the Côte Roannaise actively participate in the festival, offering tastings, food and wine pairings, and vineyard tours.
The "Vignobles en Scène" event, organized on the 3rd weekend of October as part of the label, features concerts in the vineyards, gourmet hikes, unique evenings, and discoveries of the Roannais wine heritage.
