About GergoBrass Festival

The GergoBrass Festival brings together brass soloists and ensembles from around the world in Les Martres-de-Veyre, Puy-de-Dôme, for a week of concerts, masterclasses, and workshops. The event is organized by the Mond'Arverne-Gergovie music school, in partnership with the Emmanuel-Chabrier Regional Conservatory of Clermont-Ferrand and the AMUS'MAG association.

Trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, saxhorn, and tuba take center stage at this event, which features evening concerts, exhibitions, and an educational program that brings together intermediate and advanced musicians for a collaborative project.

For the 2026 edition, the festival features seven concerts from October 24th to 31st at La Loco'Motive, including performances by the German ensemble German Brass and trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov. Running in parallel, a six-day workshop brings together around sixty brass musicians under the guidance of regional instructors, culminating in a public concert on Saturday, October 31st.

Programme GergoBrass Festival 2026

From Saturday, October 24th to Friday, October 30th, 2026

Seven evening concerts will take place at La Loco'Motive, featuring German Brass, trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov, trombonist Jacques Delplanque, the groups Hornorme and Octotrip, as well as the Arverne, Hauts-de-France, and Brass Band Project brass bands, and the collective The New Orleans Syndicate. The organizer has not yet released the specific schedule for each evening.

  • 3:00 PM — Final concert by the 60 workshop participants (intermediate and advanced levels), led by regional instructors · La Loco'Motive

The festival also includes exhibitions and an educational workshop (trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, saxhorn, tuba) from October 24th to 31st.
