Cultivating Digital Culture!

The Festival Connexions, organized by the Departmental Council of Puy-de-Dôme, is the first departmental festival entirely dedicated to digital content and uses. Launched in 2023, this innovative event aims to cultivate digital culture among all audiences: young people, families, seniors, and people with disabilities.

A Rich and Diverse Program

Each edition of the Festival Connexions offers over 125 events spread across about thirty communes in Puy-de-Dôme. The program covers a wide range of activities: practical workshops, interactive exhibitions, shows, conferences, video game tournaments, and technological demonstrations. Every visitor, regardless of their age or familiarity with digital technology, finds an experience tailored to them.

Topics at the Heart of Current Events

The festival places a strong emphasis on major digital challenges: artificial intelligence, video games, digital accessibility, virtual and augmented reality, digital manufacturing, and the ecological challenges related to technologies. The focus is on interaction, immersion, learning, and exchange to enable everyone to understand and master digital tools.

A Festival Rooted in the Territory

The activities of the Festival Connexions take place in various cultural establishments across the department: libraries, media centers, performance venues, and other public spaces. This territorial distribution allows it to reach a broad audience and bring digital culture to rural communes that do not always have access to such events.

An Event for All Ages

The Festival Connexions is for all audiences without exception. Families can participate in fun workshops, seniors discover everyday digital uses, young people compete in e-sports tournaments, and people with disabilities benefit from adapted activities. This inclusive and universal approach is the richness of the festival.
