About Fête de La Courneuve
Courneuve Square is La Courneuve's premier festival for rap, hip-hop, and world music. Held in late June at the Parc de la Liberté to coincide with the Fête de la Musique, the event is completely free to attend. Its name pays tribute to Congo Square in New Orleans, a historic site synonymous with the roots of jazz and fusion music. The festival places a strong emphasis on local residents, youth, children, and community organizations.
