A debut edition delayed by the heat

The Dano K-Festival was originally scheduled for June 27, 2026, to coincide with Dano, the Korean festival marking the arrival of summer. However, an extreme heatwave forced the event to be rescheduled for September 26, the day Korea celebrates Chuseok, the harvest festival. The organizers have rebranded it as a "Chuseok Edition," combining both traditional celebrations into a single program.

The organizing association, France Jongga, is led by Master Yu Honglim. They work in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center, affiliated with the Embassy of Korea in France, as well as the Devay festival committee and the Decize town hall.
