About Jazz à Delle
Organized by the Delle Animation association, the Delle Jazz Festival is an annual event that celebrates jazz in all its forms in Delle, a town on the border with Switzerland. Every summer at the Halle des 5 Fontaines, several jazz groups – from boogie-woogie to bossa nova, from swing to rhythm and blues – perform one after another for a festive and friendly free evening. A popular, free, and cross-border festival that is the pride of the southern Territoire de Belfort.

The Delle Jazz Festival: Free Jazz at the Franco-Swiss Border
Nestled at the southern tip of the Territoire de Belfort, a few meters from the Swiss border and the town of Porrentruy, Delle (90100) hosts its jazz festival every summer. Organized by the association Delle Animation with the support of the City of Delle, the festival has for several years perpetuated a fine tradition of a jazzy night accessible to all, in the Halle des 5 Fontaines, Place de la République.
A Free and Cross-Border Festival
Free admission is one of the fundamental values of the Delle Jazz Festival. Open to all, without tickets or reservations, the concert allows residents of Delle and its surroundings – French and Swiss alike – to enjoy quality programming in a friendly atmosphere. Delle's geographical location, a stone's throw from Switzerland, gives this event a naturally cross-border dimension, bringing together audiences from both sides of the border.
An Eclectic Program Around Jazz
Each edition offers a program of two or three musical groups covering a wide spectrum of jazz and related music: vocal jazz, bossa nova, cool jazz, boogie-woogie, swing, blues, rhythm and blues, gypsy jazz… The variety of styles ensures there's something for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening.
The 2025 Edition: Three Bands for a Night of Jazz
On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the Halle des 5 Fontaines hosted three bands for a particularly successful jazz night. MYA Trio (bossa nova, cool jazz, and French chanson) opened the festivities at 7:30 PM with the warm voice of Myriam Lecomte. Pianist and singer LADYVA, nicknamed “The Queen of Boogie,” accompanied by her bassist and drummer, followed with an energetic performance that had the audience dancing. The evening concluded with the rhythm and blues group Rascal Syndicate, a quintet with 1950s-60s influences that set the venue ablaze until closing.
Alternating with Porrentruy
A unique feature of the festival is its alternating organization with our friends from the Swiss town of Porrentruy: some years, the main festival is organized on the Swiss side, reinforcing the bilateral nature and cultural solidarity between the two border towns.
The Halle des 5 Fontaines: A Venue at the Heart of Delle
The Halle des 5 Fontaines, located on Place de la République in Delle, is the town's multi-purpose hall. Its capacity and warm atmosphere make it an ideal setting for free jazz concerts. Seating and standing areas allow everyone to enjoy the show as they wish. Food and drinks are available on-site throughout the evening.

The Delle Jazz Festival 2026 will take place in the summer of 2026 at the Halle des 5 Fontaines in Delle. True to its tradition of a free and cross-border jazz night, it will offer a new program combining vocal jazz, bossa nova, blues, and related music. Dates and artists to be confirmed.
2026 Edition — A New Jazz Night in Delle
The Delle Jazz Festival will bring jazz lovers together in the summer of 2026 at the Halle des 5 Fontaines in Delle. Organized by the Delle Animation association, this free event annually gathers residents of Delle and its surroundings, both French and Swiss sides, in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Program to Come
The program for the 2026 edition will be unveiled in the spring of 2026 on the Delle Animation association's website and on local posters. Two or three musical groups covering the spectrum of jazz and its relatives — bossa nova, swing, boogie-woogie, blues, rhythm and blues — are usually on the program.
A Festival Accessible to All
As every year, admission will be completely free. Food and drinks will be available on-site to extend the evening in a convivial manner.
