Belfort's old town, a heritage setting
The market takes place on the Place d'Armes, in the heart of Belfort's old town, a stone's throw from the Vauban citadel and the Lion of Belfort rock. This exceptional historical setting adds a cultural and heritage dimension to the practice of bargain hunting. The cobbled streets of the old town, the facades of bourgeois houses, and the proximity of the fortress create a unique atmosphere that enhances the market's appeal.
Schedules and organization
The market starts early, from 7 am, for early risers who want to get the best items before the crowds. It ends at 12:30 pm, leaving time for exhibitors to pack up. For exhibitors, registration is done directly on site in the morning. Visitors have free access to the market, with no entrance fee.
