Laval Wine Fair: 25 Years of Oenological Passion

Since its creation, the Laval Wine and Local Products Fair has established itself as the essential meeting point for wine and gastronomy lovers in Mayenne. Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Laval, a service association founded in 1980, this event combines taste pleasure and solidarity commitment: all profits are donated to actions for disadvantaged children in the department.

Over 80 Exhibitors Gathered

Each edition of the fair brings together a rigorous selection of exhibitors in the vast spaces of the Espace Mayenne:

• More than 60 winemakers from all French wine regions: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, Rhône, Languedoc, Alsace, Champagne, and many others
• About twenty local producers offering foie gras, honey, cheeses, seafood, charcuterie, confectionery, and other regional specialties

Exhibitors are selected by the Kiwanis Club volunteers for the quality of their products and their passion for their craft, guaranteeing visitors exceptional tastings.

Tastings and Meetings with Producers

The fair offers a unique opportunity to taste products directly from producers, discuss terroirs, grape varieties, and winemaking methods. It's a chance to discover hidden gems, build your personal wine cellar, and benefit from fair prices for direct purchases.

A Friendly and Accessible Venue

The Espace Mayenne, located at rue Joséphine Baker in Laval, offers a modern and spacious setting for the event. Wide aisles allow for pleasant strolling between stands, and the warm atmosphere encourages exchanges between enthusiasts.

A Solidarity Commitment

The Wine Fair is above all a solidarity project driven by the volunteers of the Kiwanis Club of Laval. The association, whose motto is "Serve the children of the world," donates all profits from the event to charitable actions for disadvantaged children in the Mayenne region. Participating in the fair also means contributing to this noble cause.

A Growing Event

With approximately 4,000 visitors each year and a growing number of exhibitors, the Laval Wine and Local Products Fair confirms its attractiveness. The 25th edition in 2026 marks a quarter-century of existence, demonstrating the public's loyalty and the event's sustainability.
