The annual meeting of Isère authors and creators in Saint-Ismier
The Isère Literary and Creative Fair is a friendly and free event that celebrates local literature and creativity in Saint-Ismier, in the heart of Isère. Created in 2024 by the association Les PrO'digieuses, this fair brings together more than sixty authors and twenty local and regional artisanal creators each year at the Agora, the town's cultural space. Visitors discover a wide variety of literary genres — life stories, fantasy, novels, children's literature — as well as original artisanal creations. Meetings, book signings, workshops, literary conferences, magic shows, raffles, and a competition for the best literary creation punctuate this festive day open to all audiences.
The Isère Literary and Creative Fair was born in 2024 on the initiative of Aurélie Gautier and Audrey Vogel, founders of the association Les PrO'digieuses. This annual fair is held at the Agora in Saint-Ismier, a cultural space located in the heart of this town in the Grésivaudan region, near Grenoble and the Chartreuse massif.
The event brings together more than sixty authors from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and twenty artisanal creators showcasing original local know-how. The literary genres represented cover a wide spectrum: life stories, novels, fantasy, children's literature, poetry, comics, and many others. On the craft side, exhibitors offer unique creations combining art and regional craftsmanship.
Throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the fair offers a rich program of activities for all ages:
From its first edition in 2024, the Isère Literary and Creative Fair was a great success, attracting more than 450 visitors. In collaboration with the association Les Pro'digieux, the organizers aim to provide a space for authentic encounters between authors, creators, and readers, in a warm and accessible atmosphere for everyone. The event benefits from the support of the municipality of Saint-Ismier and local cultural partners.
