Since 2003, the association Festi'Bal' has been promoting an original and generous artistic project in the enchanting setting of Eguisheim, a circular village listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France and voted Favorite Village of the French in 2013. Over the years, the Festi Bal d'Eguisheim has become an anticipated event of the cultural season in the Haut-Rhin region, offering a program that happily blends music, dance, circus, theater, and street arts.

An Eclectic and Generous Program

The strength of Festi Bal lies in the diversity of its program. Each edition unfolds a rich program over several days, combining concerts with varied aesthetics — blues, hip-hop, funk, brass band, world music, jazz, swing — with contemporary circus shows, popular dances, strolling parades, and dance performances. The festival emphasizes discovery and surprise, inviting companies and artists from all over France and abroad, particularly from Switzerland, to perform in the medieval setting of Eguisheim.

A Strong Commitment to Young Audiences

Festi Bal places a crucial importance on younger audiences. Shows specially designed for toddlers (from 18 months) and children punctuate each edition: puppet shows, dance workshops, bubble shows, circus activities, and storytelling. This attention to young audiences makes the festival a family event par excellence, where three generations come together to share artistic emotions.

The Salle des Marronniers, the Festival's Beating Heart

The Salle des Marronniers, a cultural space located on rue des Trois Châteaux in Eguisheim, is the main venue for the festival. This multi-purpose hall, managed by the municipality, hosts evening concerts and shows in an intimate and warm atmosphere. But Festi Bal is not confined to a single location: the village streets and squares transform into open-air stages for circus parades, strolling shows, and free activities, making the entire village vibrate to the rhythm of the performing arts.
